Knives are hand wash only, NOT dishwasher safe. Storage tray IS NOT dishwasher safe.
Blades and handles are stainless steel.

Chef: for slicing, dicing, and mincing. (multipurpose)
Santoku: best for foods that stick to knives, like potatoes. Good for cutting meat, fish and veggies.
