It is a fully sweet persimmon variety known for its intensely red fruit surface and excellent appearance. The tree has moderate vigor and produces slightly fewer flowers compared to the "Fuyu" variety. In some years, the yield may be relatively low.
The fruit matures in late October, with an average weight of around 280g, similar to "Fuyu." Yubeni persimmons rarely form seeds and exhibit strong parthenocarpic ability, with seedless fruits being quite common.
The sugar content of the fruit is slightly higher than that of "Fuyu," offering a superior flavor. This makes Yubenig sweet persimmon a high-quality variety with exceptional sweetness and taste.
